Leviste Street Salcedo Village, Makati City SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR LEGAL OPINION RE: IMPLEMENTATION OF BARANGAY CLEARING AND RESTORATION ACTIVITIES ON AN ALLEGED BARANGAY ROAD WITHIN A DISPUTED PRIVATE PROPERTY Dear Counsel for Anda White Beach Resort: This refers to the letter dated 22 May 2026 of Domingo, Dizon Leonardo & Rodillas Law Partnership, counsel for Anda White Beach Resort, requesting a legal opinion regarding the actions allegedly undertaken by officials of Barangay Bacong, Municipality of Anda, Bohol, in connection with the clearing and restoration of an alleged barangay road traversing property claimed by their client. Specifically, clarification is sought on whether the Punong Barangay may undertake the removal of structures and improvements found within the subject area pursuant to a barangay notice and a memorandum issued by the Municipal Mayor, and whether such acts constitute unlawful taking of property.
