Local Government Code Annotated Research Guide — updated 6 November 2026

Scope and update method Updated 6 November 2026. This is an original annotated research guide to RA 7160 and selected verified later enactments, implementing rules and controlling decisions. The 1991 Code remains the baseline text; later enactments are linked and identified separately. This is not an official consolidated code and does not imply that every later statute, special charter, issuance or court disposition has been exhaustively checked. The Supreme Court Republic Acts index was retrieved and filtered across all 12468 listed records using Local Government Code, 7160, barangay officials, Sangguniang Kabataan, property valuation and income classification. It yielded 27 relevant baseline, amendment, related-law and IRR records. Each listed source text was saved with a SHA-256 hash; the quorum decision was captured separately. Bills and reform consultations are excluded from the enacted amendment register. Use the official source link, verify the applicable provision and effective-date clause, and check later court orders and implementing issuances before an official action.
